Happy 9 Month B-day Dylan!

I have say, today was the first month I forgot that it was Dylan's month birthday today until my dad reminded me! I guess that just means there are too many months going by!

Our little busy body has turned into a little social butterfly. He used to have stranger anxiety and didn't communicate much with strangers, but now he does ALL the time. He loves chatting it up with anybody. He also makes all sorts of weird sounds and noises. One of his favorite's is "Rrooooaaarrr."

His other new trick which he loves practicing all the time is pointing. He loves pointing at everything and anything. He also makes this cheesy grin where one eye is closed. You'll see it in a picture below....we call it his stink eye!

His favorite thing is still to stand. He loves cruising on the sofa and going from one item to the next (ie. musical table to ottoman). He's crawling much faster and getting into everything. Our house looks like a tornado blew through it by the end of the day.

Now that it's about summertime...we have started taking him to the pool (and to the river while on a camping trip) and he LOVES it. He's a little fish and loves splashing around.

As far as his diet goes, he pretty much eats anything (besides the no no's, like honey, nuts, etc.) He doesn't want to have anything to do with purees and will only let me feed him yogurt once in a blue moon. There really isn't a food he wont eat. The last couple days he enjoyed chowing down on some new things; a slice of pickle, cherry (cut up into lil pieces), slices of orange, sugar free popsicle and veggie breakfast sausage.

At his pediatricians apt. today we found out he weighs 20 lbs and is 28 1/2 inches tall.
